February Change

I spent some time on the weekend rolling up my change. Ahhh sweet mindless therapy in the midst of a chaotic world. It was a good month for change. I had:
  • 1 roll of loonies $25
  • 1 roll of quarters $10
  • 2 rolls of dimes $10
  • 1 roll of nickles $2
  • 6 rolls of pennies $3
$50  worth of pretty snowflakes that are now gone to the bank and been added as a lump sum to my vehicle loan.

thanks change!! I appreciate you.

We just picked up some coin rollers on the weekend so we could do this. We have one peanut butter jar about 1/4 full of change, a tin cookier container full & a smaller jar I just stumbled across yesterday while purging a cupboard that we completely forgot about. Looking forward to a night of adding up & rolling!

Wow! That's a great amount for one month. I love keeping my change now - can't believe I never used to. It really adds up! Great for snowflaking.

It can really add up, especially if you're diligent about emptying out your wallet every couple of days. We saved over $1700 in an 18mth period. Unfortunately, that money all went on vet bills for one of the dogs, but I was sure glad to have it.

Awesome! I have been saving mine for two months in a sealed can, no idea how much is in there! It will be my Vegas only this July
