Well there was a breeze blowing in which saved me from pure heat. The boys had a great time out there and it was great to have a good long visit with my sister, which I haven't had the chance to do since her MS diagnosis, as she's been away.
It didn't end up being too costly. Another one of my sisters had a park pass I borrowed so I saved that $8.
Day at the lake costs:
Gas $10
Groceries $12
Mini Golf $15
for a total of $37.
