A Canadian vs US cost comparison

For those of you who are not familiar with Gail Vaz -Oxlade, she is a Canadian $ Guru with a TV show on slice.ca called Til Debt do us Part. I really enjoyed her post today as it answers questions I had always had. I had always believed US prices were far far below Canadian ones, mostly in terms of consumer product prices.
