We have a book swap cart at our school for parents and staff who want to share the literary wealth and last week I found this one.
For those outside of Canada, Rick Mercer is sort of like the Canadian version of Jon Stewart. Political satire and comedy. He also goes out and meets with folk across the nation and spends time in their lives: people like scientists, military folk, athletes etc.
I have enjoyed Rick for years and was happy to find a book of his Rants - transcripts of his 2 min commentary which appear on the Rick Mercer show.
Loved this book.

Oooh. I LOVE Rick Mercer. I will have to try to find this in the library.
I really enjoyed it. Lots of little reads with a lot of food for thought.
