snowflakes!!!!

nope, not the fun kind. not the money kind. not the kind that makes you feel like you've accomplished something by saving and accomplished even more by whapping them onto debt or in a target account.

We had a week of glorious melty weather. My front lawn lost all it's snow. My back lawn lost almost all of it. heck one day it was even 15C. People were out walking. Laughing. Smiling. Celebrating.

I told the students this is wayyyyy too early for spring...that something was going to happen. No I wasn't being a pessimist. I was being a lifelong resident of SK who has hit that 'certain age' and has seen it happen before.

I should have known yesterday when it was grey and -3 and windier than all heck. It even rained a bit. That bitter cold, right to your bones rain.

And this morning, as  a wee gift for our overindulgence, my vehicle and lawn are covered with mother nature's white stuff. Honestly, I think, as a woman, I get enough gifts from mother nature LOL

So for all those east of me, who have had glorious weather, whose forecast was ominous....it probably wasn't lying. Snowflakes, too,  shall come your way.
