Well the holidays are over and it's time to head back to the regular scheduled programming. As I write this it's still dark outside and I know it will be as I head to school. One of the best parts of spring coming (slowly) is that it will slowly get lighter, earlier. It surely can get a bit depresssing when you arrive at work in the dark and leave in the dusky/dark.
To start the new year off in the right way regarding debt reduction, I am heading to the bank at noon, to make a lump sum payment on my line of credit. If I don't, there is a good chance it will just disappear.
I am using the $36 I won on my Christmas gift scratch and win tickets, and $60 that is leftover from my jar $ last week. I will joyfully add this $96 to the beginning of my snowflake jar on the side panel. I am now under $6000 owing and heading down to my next mini goal of $5500 owing.
May this be a sign of many positive moves to come.
Tuesday, Nice weekend!

3 days in and already making progress!!! WOO HOO!!
Yeah for kicking of the new year on the right note! I'm going to be tracking my snowballs for the first time ever, & I went through my closet this morning for things I can purge/sell on Ebay. I may end up just donating, but either way, they'll be out of my house!
Yesterday was my first day back at work. I wasn't quite ready for it, but it happened anyway. ;-) Hope today is as painless as possible!
That's an awesome snowflake so early in the year! I just made a lump sum payment too, because I'm sure I would have "lost" that money too if it sat too long.
I have a pile of loonies and toonies sitting in my drawer right now to take to the bank. I should have today but I didn't. I really like how you keep track of the extra that you put on your loans. Sad that you have to head back to work. I'm not going in until Monday. Our servers were being upgraded so we have no computer access this week anyway. I will do a bit of planning today from home, but nothing too serious!
Moving slow as I stayed up to watch the game last night.
That's great!! That's a terrific start to the new year.
