At bank one I deposited some cheques and withdrew Jar $ for the week. At bank two I deposited some cheques and moved money into my High Interest Savings. I was able to move enough to finish off my new (this year) goal of Back to School $1500. It is going to be a big relief to have that money when it come time to pay school fees, buy school supplies, and put some towards those back to school extra curricular activities. It looks all pretty and green and 100% filled in.
I have three savings goals left on my sidebar. I will complete them in the following order:
- Christmas - $1400
- RRSP - $1500
- TFSA (EF) - $1000

I really commend you on running from bank to bank to get money to fill your jars. I really wish I had the time and energy to do so as well. It takes discipline and that is one of my lowest key points :)Keep up the good work and hope you succeed on your planned savings!
What a great feeling eh? And yes it shore looks purdy! Congrats!
That's wonderful!! I hope to complete at least one sidebar this year. Seems like almost a lost cause at this point. You've given me a huge incentive to get going on those goals. If I can just get past this awfully expensive month! :)!
Well done!!! I bet your going to be so happy to have it when school roles around!! I know I will feel that way with my Christmas fund when the time comes!
well done!! the sidebar looks good :)
This is amazing and exciting. All the hard work does work. It will be like Christmas in July if you complete your Christmas goal in July, too corny?
Wow that is so awesome! Also question, if you don't spend ALL of your back to school money do you just transfer the rest to the next year or do you apply it to debt and count it as snowflakes?
Welcome Counting and thanks for commenting. I peeked over at your blog. welcome to the blogging world.
Jane - lol it takes so little to make me go oooooo
Sharon - you do the most amazing things. I am sure you're going to get moving. March is almost over.
Sarah - thanks. It will be a first for me having the $ ready.
Louise and MM - thanks so much.
Niki - lol exactly!!
GMC - If I didn't use it all I would roll it forward to next year's same sidebar probably.
You're awesome and very systematic. I love how you handle your finances especially your savings. You inspired me to do the same. Thanks and more power to your blog!
Yay for completing more sidebars!
