Grrrrrrrrrr Gas

$1.199 per Liter

Yup. Gas went up. Again. It's crazy trying to keep up. It jumped 8 cents overnight. We were already higher than many of our neighbouring communities and soar higher we go.

It means I need to think carefully about trips around town and ask  myself if I really need to go, or can I wait and combine trips.

darn gas prices!!

I'm glad ours are regulated and only change on Thursday mornings. Usually there are predictions in Wednesday's paper telling you to fill up or wait.....

Imagine what it's going to be this summer!

Okay.. so if I am doing my math right that is the equivalent of $4.54 a gallon in the US. Wowza! I was just complaing about it being $3.35 a gallon.

I know how you feel. Gas prices here went up to $1.20 the middle of last week. I'm definitely more conscious of the way I drive and how many trips I make.

I use GasBuddy.com to compare gas prices at the local stations and to check gas prices if I'm driving elsewhere. Isn't it funny how gas prices differ from one town to the other, even though the gas might come from the same truck and distributor?

If it makes you feel any better... We're floating at $1.21 right now. For awhile it was $1.25 in Toronto too. :(

Here in the UK petrol just hit £6 a gallon (approx $9.50) it's unbelievable..and they expect it to keep on rising.

Gas is going to jump here tomorrow ( the gut on CBC figures about 4 cents/ litre). I'm going to gas up today. Oh and furannce oil? They figure about 1.00/litre... I'm definately going to have to look at getting rid of my oil tank and switching to a heat pump this spring. Which will add to the value of my house.

I know - isn't it awful!! Thank goodness we only have 1 car that we all share and everyone puts gas in it, not just me...but still it puts a dent in the budget.

wow....I hate it when gas jumps so much overnight...especially when you forget to fill up the day before.

In Vancouver, gas is a painful $1.288/litre.

I can see it being $1.40+ by summer. Ugh.

Maybe just learn to be a homebody lol. Kidding aside, you're with that problem of price increase in gas. Especially after what happened in Egypt and now Libya. I heard the oil will go up too. :(

Ughhh so annoying! I got gas after work today at 117.2 and coming back tonight I saw it on the other side of the highway for 123.0!! Craziness!

Yup it,s already reached $1.40 a litre here in Queensland, although it is cheaper in some other states.
It,s disgusting that once again motorists suffer, and will it go back down again when things recover.
not B****Y likely.

I know what you mean...it used to cost $29 to fill up my little car and now it's $42. Boo on higher gas prices :(-

Yep, feeling the pain here...put $30 in the van and it didn't even bring up the marker to half. What used to cost $60 to fill is now going to cost $80!! It was 1.23 a litre.
