While it didn't leave me gripping the edge of the pages, it was a pleasant summer read to enjoy, curled up, on my patio. I rated it 3 out of 5 stars on Goodreads....that's about a B for me.

I really like this author. He has a series set in Edinburgh that I really enjoy and then the #1 Ladies Detective Agency series is great too.
I had blogger problems, too. Follow your own blog and emails arrive with your blog posts. You can put those in a folder or copy to a folder. I also was locked out of both my yahoo accounts. A young friend got me back into my emails and then into my blog.
Jolie-I have a section on my blog for book and movie reviews and want to make it more prominent and useful by linking to others when they do reviews. Would you allow me to link there?
I haven't heard of this series! I adore the No 1 Ladies' Detective Agency Series, but am not such a fan of the Edinburgh one, although I did try. You might like Alan Bradley as well - he writes a series, starting with the 'Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie', that is superb (plus he's a Canadian author!). Also, I'm on Goodreads if you'd like to look for me - Annie - AsianPear and I are friends there. I love seeing what other people are reading! I love finding new leads xx

One employer pays monthly. Others pays biweekly. Hubs get paid on 15th and 1st of each month. Finding ways to have money for paying bills with different kinds of pay schedule can be a challenge.
