Menu

This may well be a record for me. Four weeks in a row making menus. Actually there is no question, it IS a record. LOL

It's helping me feel more organized. It's helping me use my food budget more efficiently. We are eating better and NOT going out for fast food or take out.  The kids enjoy knowing what's coming and I get less of 'what is for supper????

Since I am doing WW, I add a green salad to all my supper meals and I eat smaller portions of what I make for the boys.

Sunday - roast chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, niblet corn
Monday - Beef Stew, biscuits and salad
Tuesday - chicken quesadillas
Wednesday - leftovers
Thursday - Pork Chops and Rice
Friday - Tacos

We are having Roast Chicken this week too! It really is helpful to make meals. When you are tired in the evening, you don't want to have to figure out what to make for dinner! I just completed a month's worth of dinners for February. Let's hope I can stay within budget!

How's WW's going? I'm losing nothing on this new plan...I want the old plan back....

Good for you breaking your record! Can I come over for good food?

Ours is:
Sunday - Steak and potatoes
Monday - Fish, Wild Rice, Salad
Tuesday - Sausage and potato soup, Cucumbers
Wednesday - Beans, Greens and Bread
Thursday - Spaghetti, Green Beans
Friday - Tacos
Saturday - Roast, Carrots, Broccoli

We actually do two weeks at a time including breakfast, lunch and snacks, but we mainly do it for the kids - they really love knowing.

Sounds like a good week. I love menu planning, it make me feel organized too. I also don't feel that panick at 5 o'clock.

The chickens in the Supermarkets at the moment are so small, bring back the nice fat birds we had at Christmas.

OK OK you have shamed me I dont have the weekly menu once again.
