Well it certainly wasn't the most fun summer. Nor was it the most productive. It was a summer of worry and health and mental health issues. I had no spark. No 'let's do this' or 'let's go there' or "let's read this' motivation.
The school year is so busy and hectic and I feel guilty for wasting it, but I just couldn't shake the blah at all.
DS2 is still not back to work. He is still taking meds and I hope that his world will return a bit to normal.
DS1 is now in Europe. It is very weird having him so far away and I feel limited in what I know about his life there.
I have three medical appointments in the city this week. Of course they are all on different days. I tried to get someone to reshift but no luck. So three tanks of gas and three hospital parking fees and three days 'wasted'. I am more than a little nervous about what the surgeon will say about taking my colon, or resecting some of it. Has anyone had that done? Is it full on surgery or laproscopic? Recovery time?
Last week off before school starts again. We shall see if my spark starts to return.
Tuesday, Nice weekend!

I worry about our younger son here. He also has anxiety/depression issues but seems to be on the right meds for him now. Last year was a tough one for him and us(worrying about him).
Good luck getting your DS on the correct regime for him. 8-)
Remember what they say about life....."Life is Change." Nothing ever stays the same for long. Here's to adjusting and rolling with the tide.
I hope everything falls in to place and you find your spark again. Thinking of you tonight! X Chy
I am so sorry for the tough time you are going through. Wish you health, patience and strength as you ride this wave.
I don't think you've wasted your summer at all - sometimes the body just needs to rest so that's what you should do - we have to listen to our bodies.
Hi, Jolie. You've had such a tough year; I hope you can be gentle with yourself, and that you feel better soon. I think you're one of the nicest people on these internets, and wish you the peace and happiness you deserve.
