Home from the hospital

Dad has been in the local hospital for almost 3 weeks now.

We just can't seem to keep the fluid off his lungs, legs and feet. He is glad to be home, but things are not moving in the direction we want to.  There were further medical complications we will be fighting. He is getting tired of fighting.

I am really hoping to get my College LOC under $15 000 by end of year.

September change

I had the change, I swear I did.

Then we were hosting a volleyball tournament at the school and the float we are given for the canteen is never enough of the right denominations. If you have a couple people come buy with $20 bills, your change goes quickly away.

 So I took my toonies and loonies (and some $5s I got from the bank, and VOILA! when the canteen was low, I had money to swap out to save the day.

So I did not take my change to the bank for my monthly change visit. I took 6 - $20 bills instead.

My 'change' for the month goes towards my TFSA and I am hoping to actually ADD to it this year.

Thank you to all of you who sent messages.

I am just...……...off.  Not feeling myself in all parts of my world. Work. Home. Family. Money. Emotions....the whole package.

I am trying to find me. Seeing a counsellor. Debating taking time off work. Trying to look for positives. 2018 has really put my world off kilter and I sure hope I find balance again soon or it's a whole calendar year I have wasted.

Life is too short to not be happy and not LIVE life.
