As I crawled into bed last night just before 11 I gleefully chuckled "I get to sleep in tomorrow!!!" No obligatioins. No where I had to be. How disappointing to find that I was wide awake moments after 7 AM this morning and here I am blogging at 7:30. DS1 got home very late....2 AM I think, from his hockey road trip. He checks in when he comes home but I didn't look at the time. DS2 went to bed about midnight. I let him stay up since he had no obligations today for a change. DH is sleeping. The cats are sleeping. Heck even the fish aren't moving yet.
I am just exhausted from my week. It was one of those, at work. At home, I was mostly a neglectful mother. We had report cards this week, a school lunch, 2 Career presentations in my class, an evening dance and a trip to the ski hill. The kids had a blast.
I however have a messy house, piles of laundry, marking up the wazoo and my finances are in a swirling mess. I used up all my money in all my jars just to get through all the obligations. It IS payday tomorrow and I will survive but I need to just stop, breathe, regroup and check balances and write things down. right now I feel totally out of control and I really really dislike that feeling.
So I shall sip my coffee this morning, toss a load in the washer, write out my to do list and start tackling things to bring back order and peace and harmony into my mind.

I know how you feel! Thank goodness pay day is Monday for us - have to readjust this month and get back on track!
Sounds like a show week to me. But my kids are not at home anymore so that makes it easier. I remember the laundry piling up and up and the money flowing, actually the money is still flowing , I don't think that ever ends. Have a short rest my friend you deserve it.
Life happens to the best of us. I hope you're able to knock your Saturday out of the park!
Good luck on creating peace and harmony and I hope your week off is as lovely as it is well deserved!
Hope you were able to rest & regroup!! We all need some downtime! Onwards & upwards!
