A wee bit of snow (both kinds)

While I would love for the two kinds of snow to be money snowflakes and dandruff, sadly, I am dandruff free.

After a week of near zero gloominess most of the time and wind wind wind, the forecast is for snow tonight and tomorrow. Thank you so much to my Alberta neighbours for sending this gift towards me (activiate loving sarcasm device here) :-)

I also bundled up the bottles and cans today and did a quick run over to SARCAN (Saskatchewan's recycling depot). There weren't many, but enough. It netted me $10.95. The change went into my change jar and the lovely purple bill went into my snowflake jar. It currently holds $30 so I now have $40. Every little bit counts. When I hit  $100 I will take it to the bank and whap it down on my loan.

Yeah non precipitational snowflakes!!!

Hey that's pretty good - I took back our wine bottles/beer cans and only got $3.85 which went into my Sealed Pot. Sorry to hear about the snow, we had a few flakes the other day AND I had ice on my windshield a couple of times this week. Yet tomorrow we supposed to have a thunderstorm!

Fingers crossed no more snow here! Hope it doesn't amount to much after all the fuss. Hm. I think I need to start collecting the coins from my can & bottle recycling. I do like to donate it to the animal shelter, though. They need it more than I do!

We Albertans thought that the Saskatchewanians might like a bit more moisture! Enjoy your snow day. :)

I have a ton of bottles to return. I can only go on Saturdays as they close at three during the week. Guess its next weekend now! I usually throw mine I. The change jar. I don't have a debt to apply them to, except I guess I could put in my mortgage account and save up for an extra payment, or get to 100 and put it in my emergency account.....hmmm, got me thinking now!

I used to hate snow when I lived in Scotland, horribly wet stuff which eventually becomes slushy and dirty. But it's been 26 years since I saw any and just now and then I get a longing to throw a snowball and build a snowman, we are never happy.....
