If I could draw your attention.....

to my sidebar, you will see that my vehicle loan is now down to $1372.

Let me rephrase that - my vehicle loan is now down to $1372!!!!!!!!!!

DS1 is home safetly so I took money from my income tax refund and whapped that onto my loan. Lookie the percentage it's at!! That's right. 95%

That means I need a wee bit of snowflakes and my two regular payments at the start of May and of June, and this loan (knocks on wood) is done.

I have a lot of mixed feelings about this and while it will be something to celebrate, I am coming to the realization that they will always be a SOMETHING to pay for or to save for.

I guess that, in itself, shows how much I have learned the past few years.

Well done! That will be a nice load off For the summer. You are so right that there is always "something" just waiting for your extra $$. Especially when you have kids!

Congradulations on taking care of that loan so quickly. Once your mortgage is gone you'll be rolling in the cash. (I know, you're right, there's always something, but we can all dream, can't we?) Hope you have a good weekend and the weather in Northern SK is good. (I lived in Cold Lake for years and I miss the west).

95%, that's awesome! The anticipation would kill me for two months. I have come to realize the same thing... there will almost always be something to pay/save for. Not necessarily discouraging, but it's like the cycle never ends!

Whoo-hoo! I remember when that number was MUCH higher. Congrats! There's always something to save for, but there's not always debt, right?

Great job on the loan! There does always seems to be things to pay off but when we have a major repair on our paid off car, we look at it like a car payment (that we have to make once instead of every month). Im sure you will get the loan paid off ASAP (plus Dave Ramsey says it will drive better when it is paid off!).

How wonderful! Yes there always seems to be something to pay for but now you'll have more money to pay for them. I know you have things you need to save for and you have freed up more $$ now to save for those goals. Well done Jolie!
