Among the pile of mail that came last week while I was distracted with Parent Teacher Interviews, was my RRSP update.
The last time I updated, my balance was sitting at $11 563.99.
I was excited to have it back over 10 grand, though I do realize that 10 won't take me very far when I finally get around to cashing it that in.
After my July update, I added $1500 to my account. That would bring it to $13 036. My statement shows that I am sitting at $13 473.14. This is a gain of $400 over the past quarter on my Canadian bonds and dividends.
I haven't changed the proportion of my investments since I started. I really am not 'in the know' on this sort of thing. I am not a risk taker and I don't have a ton to play with. Or a ton of time.
Now onwards to saving towards next year's wee goal.

That is a nice increase!
I'm not a risk taker either. I'd rather see slow and steady increases, like yours, than watch it bounce around up and down. Glad to see you back!
I always marvel when I read stories of risk takers and how much they have improved their nest eggs.
